Pigeon Trio

This is a composite of the face of a unique model named Pigeon draw during life drawing class sessions.

She has many looks so I added the bird to further identify her.

Conquering Corona

This a modernized portrait painting from a charcoal drawing of Olimpio Fusco by John Singer Sargent dated 1900-1910.  Sargent chose to draw this young Italian boy for his beauty.

I needed a handsome, athletic man and since none was on hand, I picked Olimpio to squeeze the life out of the corona virus.
